Installation path

Open Augment→Go to Configuration→Select MCP Registry→Click "Add Server"

Install the Checkmarx Developer Assist IDE extension and sign in. For manual setup, choose Add Server, select Remote MCP, use the Checkmarx AST regional URL such as https://mea.ast.checkmarx.net/api/security-mcp/mcp, and add Authorization with your activation key plus cx-origin for the client.

Setup steps

    Install the IDE extension

    Install the Checkmarx Developer Assist extension in your IDE.

  2. 02

    Sign in

    Sign in to Checkmarx Developer Assist with your activation key when prompted.

  3. 03

    Enable on Cosmos

    Toggle Checkmarx Developer Assist on the products that need it.

  4. 04

    Fallback (manual setup)

    Add as a Remote MCP with the regional URL https://<region>.ast.checkmarx.net/api/security-mcp/mcp plus Authorization and cx-origin headers.

Authentication
