Announcing New MCP Integrations: Vercel, Honeycomb, Render, and Heroku

Announcing New MCP Integrations: Vercel, Honeycomb, Render, and Heroku

TL;DR

Easy MCP, our one-click integration platform for Augment Code, is growing. Since launching on July 30, developers have used Easy MCP to quickly connect their agents with essential context providers. Today, we’re excited to announce four new integrations: Honeycomb, Render, Vercel, and Heroku.

When Augment has the full context of the tools you use to build and run software—observability, deployment, hosting, and infrastructure—it can help you do even more.

From launch to expansion

When we first introduced Easy MCP, our goal was to remove the friction from connecting the Augment agent to the services you already rely on. Instead of managing config files or Docker containers, developers could authenticate with a click and immediately enrich their coding experience with live context.

Now, we’re extending that same ease of use to four more platforms central to modern development and operations.

The new integrations

  • Honeycomb – Ingest traces, spans, and query results for instant observability in your coding loop.
    • Sample prompt: “Show me recent slow traces in production and suggest where to add instrumentation.”

  • Heroku – Pull dyno statuses, release histories, and live logs into your IDE.
    • Sample prompt: “Show the most recent release for staging and highlight any errors in the logs.”

  • Render – Access build logs, service statuses, and environment details right where you’re coding.
    • Sample prompt: “Why did my last staging build fail, and how should I adjust the config?”

  • Vercel – Stream deployment previews, build logs, and analytics for faster iteration on web projects.
    • Sample prompt: “What’s in the latest preview deployment of my Next.js app, and are there any build errors?”

What our partners say

“As agents like Augment Code accelerate software development, the rate at which our teams can generate production issues is only increasing. Fast access to observability is crucial in this new world. With Augment’s one-click Honeycomb MCP integration, teams using Augment agent can have instant feedback loops with live production observability and safely move even faster.” — Emily Nakashima, VP of Engineering, Honeycomb

"Our MCP server gives developers direct access to Render's logs, metrics, and infrastructure through natural language. Now with Augment's Easy MCP, that's one click away," said Anurag Goel, CEO of Render. "When you're building fast, the last thing you want is to jump between your code and a lot of different dashboards. With Augment's context engine and Render's MCP server, you can quickly debug your application while staying right in your IDE or terminal where you already are."

“Developers are becoming more effective every day with AI agents. At Vercel, we see this trend on our engineering teams, and in how our customers are interacting with our AI Cloud. We’re excited for Easy MCP to enable more agents, creating simplified access to Vercel MCP for interacting with projects built and deployed on Vercel.” — Anthony Shew, Product Manager, Vercel

Getting started

List of MCP integrations on Augment Code

These new integrations are available now in VS Code v0.555.1+. You can visit the docs page to get started.

A note on CLI vs IDE: Today, MCP and native integrations don’t automatically sync between the Augment IDE extension and the CLI—you’ll need to configure them separately in each client. We know this is a pain point, and we’re actively working on unified settings so your integrations follow you everywhere.

What’s next

This expansion is just the beginning. We’ll continue rolling out new Easy MCP integrations with the services developers rely on most, making your AI agents more capable with every release.
