# Run your software factory

Cosmos is the platform for building an always-on software delivery system that moves work from spec to verification. Build and tune it in natural language, with your engineers in control at the points that matter.

## Build with agent loops

A software factory is assembled loop by loop. Agents carry the repetitive middle of the software development lifecycle while engineers hold the quality gates.

Common starting points include:

- **Code review:** Every pull request gets a substantive first-pass review within minutes. Senior engineers review for intent and architecture rather than line-by-line diffs.
- **Ticket to PR:** Assign a ticket and the loop investigates, writes the change, and exercises it end to end. Its output can feed directly into code review.
- **Vulnerability remediation:** Agents map the blast radius and prepare patches for the team to approve.
- **Incident response:** Agents investigate the likely cause, draft a timeline, and assemble context before the on-call engineer joins.

## Why Cosmos

Cosmos gives engineering organizations one place to run agents across planning, coding, review, validation, testing, incidents, and maintenance. It provides shared context and memory, production-grade runtimes, permissions, audit trails, observability, and human review points.

Teams can trigger work from GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Linear, Jira, schedules, and webhooks. Agents can run in managed cloud sandboxes, on customer-managed machines, or across both. Model flexibility lets teams choose the right model for each task without locking their agent strategy to one provider.
